Concrete Closeboard
In the summer of 2024, we were contacted by a customer from the small village of Stonham Aspal, near Stowmarket, Suffolk. The customer was seeking a competitively priced fencing company to deliver high-quality service. We provided a free quote to remove the existing concrete posts and install a new Concrete Close Board fence. The previous fencing was in poor condition, with only two rails and severely rotted wooden components. The solution we offered was a 1.8m high Concrete Close Board fence, featuring recessed concrete posts, a concrete gravel board, cant rails, feather edge, and a rebated capping. This combination provides the most durable and long-lasting fencing option available. As shown in the photos, the new fence has successfully redefined the boundary of the customer’s property, offering both strength and aesthetic appeal.

Concrete Fencing
For this project, we installed a concrete fence for a family in Sible Hedingham, Halstead. The previous fence had deteriorated significantly, with the base of the posts completely rotted and sections on the verge of collapsing.
Our solution was to install a durable concrete fence, offering a much longer lifespan than the previous timber posts. The concrete posts and gravel boards protect the fence from rot by preventing moisture exposure, ensuring the longevity of both the panels and posts. We also paid careful attention to installing the fence in consistent steps, using a pattern to maintain visual appeal. The result is a robust fence that can withstand the test of time and the elements. The new installation has successfully secured the boundary, providing peace of mind and preventing the family’s pets from escaping.

Contemporary Slatted Fencing
This project aimed to create a modern fencing solution for a courtyard garden in the town centre of Colchester, Essex. The challenge was to install a fence on top of a low brick wall that ran along the boundary of the small garden. Additionally, the neighbouring property had an intrusive tree that needed to be screened from the garden. After considering the customer's initial idea of composite fencing, we proposed an alternative solution that fit within the budget. The result is a cost-effective and stylish screen that enhances the contemporary design of the compact courtyard garden. The installation also provides a durable solution to the original challenges. We added a geo membrane as a contrasting background to the battens, which were fixed with stainless steel nails to prevent any staining or bleed onto the timber.

Field Gates
This project involved the installation of field gates, designed for both vehicles and pedestrians, in Stowmarket, Suffolk. The customer was initially torn between installing a large set of double driveway gates or opting for field gates. After discussing their goals for the entrance, we quickly concluded that they didn’t want to overly seclude the property. We suggested a set of field gates with post and rail fencing, which would define the property boundary without creating a large, imposing barrier. After some revisions and final decisions, we arrived at a solution that met the homeowner’s needs. The result was exceptional. The customer was thrilled with the fencing and field gates we supplied and installed. The installation provided the property with a premium entrance while creating a clear, defined boundary. Our solution successfully balanced quality, aesthetics, and budget.
